What Is a Home Health Aide?

A Home Health Aide (HHA) provides maintenance and restoration care to clients who are physically disabled, elderly, or chronically ill in their home setting. HHAs follow the client's plan of care and assist with all necessary tasks for the client's well-being.

Students receive a Certificate of Completion from TCI but must also obtain proof of certification from KDADS before practicing as an HHA.
